Screening of BRONKO by Isaac Ulam at Film Noir Cinema in Brooklyn

Arts.  Film Noir Cinema, 07/12/2019

Isaac Ulam's film, which won the Juried Prize at the Arizona Underground Film Festival, is an ascetic vision about a being who detests the dysfunctional social model that this society proposes and opts for the way of self-destruction. Loneliness, addiction, survival, human sacrifice and a strong ideological component, turn "Bronko" into the symbol of the new contemporary redeemer.

BRONKO is Isaac Ulam's award-winning film narrating the life of actor Roman di Martino, protagonized by Ulam himself, and also starring Freyja Palau and Fàtima Ponsdomènech. Filmed in Blanes with a script in Catalan and a score by Paul Fuster, BRONKO deals with themes of addiction and spirituality.

Isaac Ulam is a self-taught multidisciplinary author, although he pursued a degree as an audiovisual director. Before finishing his studies in the cinematographic field at the age of 22, he was selected for his experimental work at the Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival of Catalonia as one of the ten most outstanding authors in the field of visual poetry for his work Poetize.
